Power Delivery System

Northern Municipal Power Agency (NMPA) owns a load-ratio share (approximately 15%) of the Minnkota Power Cooperative transmission system. Minnkota operates and maintains a robust set of electric transmission infrastructure, including more than 3,340 miles of transmission line and 249 substations. These systems are monitored from Minnkota's energy control center 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
